Here I am, before the whole thing starts.

Notice the lack of dark circles under the eyes. No redness. No puffiness. Notice the calm and relaxed expression. Good thing I have a picture of this...because things will change. Drastically.

Last minute checklist
-figure out generalized plot
-pick a name for the main character (I usually go with an 'm' name, like Maryanne, or Marvin, or Martel, don't ask me why)
-make sure computer backup is working
-breathe

-pray that the industrial-sized garbage truck that comes right under my apartment every morning at 5am to empty out the industrial-sized waste containers...comes on time so I'm up bright and early
